Fellow Citizens: Greetings once again:

I wish to  respond briefly to the piece  below  written by  Yoweri Museveni 's  Kyankwazi trained NRM cadre.  Reading between the line , it does appear that the NRM military dictatorship  is in state of panic, so to say,  as a result of  political agitation  by our fellow citizen at home in Uganda.

Apparently, Masika now wants the people of Uganda  to believe that somehow  there is a conspiracy  between some "foreign forces " and Uganda to help unseat Yoweri Museveni's NRM Dictatorship.  Nothing can be further then the true.

The fact of the matter is that Ugandans are simply tired  of Yoweri Museveni 's  dictatorship and oppression of our people. We are tired of the many wars created by the dictatorship, the poverty,  the disease, unemployment, tribalism, regionalism  e.tc..etc..and we WANT CHANGE NOW!

For 20 years the NRM military dictatorship was in bed with what   Captain Henry Masiko  is now calling "imperialist forces".  Imperialist  together with stooge Museveni connived to invade  DRC Congo . Amid the chaos , Museveni and  his masters  continue to loot DRC resources with absolute impunity. Because of  the war  and effects of war in DRC Congo between 5-8 Million Congolese citizens  have lost their lives.

Capt Masiko must also be reminded that the Imperialist forces , which he now castigates, have been responsible for  supplementing  more then 1/2 of Uganda Budget for 19 years.

While  Capt Henry Masiko and his fellow cohorts were "swallowing donor money",  there was no talk of "imperialist" influence of  Ugandan body politics.  Now that the Imperialist have realized that continuing to support Museveni Military dictatorship is  detrimental  to their investment in Uganda and are beginning to speak out against the NRM military Dictatorship,  all of a Sudden , as if to draw some sympathy from Nationalist Africans at Home and in the Diaspora,  Masiko and the NRM  begins to invoke the name of African Nationalist  like  Patrice Lumumba, Kwame Nkuruma, Thomas Sankara ..to note but a few.

The fact is DISAPORANS  and Ugandans  are not about to buy your cheap propaganda   Capt Henry Masiko.

Shame on you Capt Masiko and your fellow NRM sycophants..you time is up.. ..Tell the NRM to JUST LEAVE

Matek

On March 25, David Pulkol and Ntege Ssebaggala, speaking on an FM radio station called on Ugandans to stage a demonstration. They said the demonstration should be openly backed by foreign forces, since President Museveni had resisted pressure by internal agitators.

It is now clear the current wave of the so-called opposition agitation is led and sponsored by hostile foreign backers.

On March 24, when a similar demonstration took place, the element of foreign aggression was not disguised - an Italian national was seen in the forefront and he is on record to have uttered abusive remarks against the Ugandan president. He also called for an uprising of the Ugandan Catholics, to oppose a government of non-Catholics! More foreign colouring was in form of a foreign journalists who gave the low-key demonstration an undue international prominence. In my view, this is tantamount to foreign aggression. It is a clear assault on the territorial integrity of Uganda and the sovereignty of our land. Anybody supporting this development is a traitor and deserves being crushed by the patriotic forces in Uganda.

My reading of the emerging trend is that the old enemies of Africa are at their game again. This is reminiscent of what the imperialists did in the 1960s when they eliminated Patrice Lumumba of Congo, in the 1970s when they assassinated Comrade Mondlane of Mozambique, and later, his successor Samora Machel, and in the late 80s when they sponsored the elimination of the young progressive Thomas Sankara. In Uganda's case, they have been quietly sponsoring armed terrorists. Having lost hope in the approach, they have chosen to show their true colours by mobilising disgruntled elements to stage a semblance of popular upraising.

Let all progressive forces rise up and defend our hard-won revolution. Let us use all the means at our disposal to defend our constitution and deny them a chance to violate our sovereignty. The UPDF should clearly restate their constitutional obligation to defend the sovereignty of Uganda. In 1986, the Ugandan masses captured state power, and the 1995 Constitution rests all the sovereignty onto the people of Uganda. The Police and the UPDF have a legitimate obligation to defend this power. As the President clearly stated, Kisanja is a people's movement and, therefore, deserves legitimate defence. The so-called anti-third term agitators have openly confessed they cannot win any appeal through the masses. Augustine Ruzindana is on record to have told President Museveni that his constituents in Ruhama support him (Museveni) and the lifting of term limits.

Therefore, the projected demonstration(s) whose objective is to abet foreign sponsored agenda must be stopped. Aluta continua.
