Museveni is unfair to some soldiers

It is always good to analyze things before we come up with any judgment. Just saying that Tumukunde deserved it like what I read from Edwin Majayanja is just being shallow minded because what he is saying does not have any evidence to support his point. Do not just say Tumukunde is bad or is good and stop there. What I�m trying to say here is that; why does commander in chief favors some UPDF officers and haunts others. Don�t you think that he is trying to divide our officers in order to rule them forever? I will give some examples on this. First, Tumukunde was a senior to Mayombo and he used Mayombo to undermine Tumukunde�s role as his boss and the same story applies to Kayanja. This is just logic. If you appoint me as the boss, let me do my duties as the boss and if his excellence feels that my deputy is better than me, let him transfer me or fire me. Another point here is that, if the army high co mmand sat and elected Tumukunde to represent them in the parliament, should he just sit there and don�t contribute anything. Is contributing nothing is in the interest of the army. Just sit there, get paid and go home and pretend nothing has happened. The army council elected him because they knew he was capable to represent army well. What about Tumukunde�s cautiousness as a leader? Do want him to sit down and keep quite when he sees his own country is falling apart. Don�t you think people will question the role he played while he in the parliament. A true leader has to use logic and think about tomorrow. You can�t be like most MPS in Uganda who are elected by our peasants and when they reach in the parliament, they vote according to the interests of the president and not their people. This is killing our politics in Uganda. You can�t just take 5 million and betray your constituency. What about allowing some army officers to make so called �controversial statements� and don�t all ow others to do so because they don�t agree with the president�s views. Who told you that you have to agree with the president all the time? These are double standards that are finishing our country. The Radio interviewed Tumukunde to air out his own views. He did so as any other Ugandan. That is why in democratic societies; freedom of speech is emphasized. When people cannot talk freely, then they will start running away and start civil war. Even in families, children rebel because they feel their parents less consider their views. It is okay for Tumukunde to attack Besigye but not Museveni. It is very fine for a serving officer like Tinyefuza to support movement system, but not for Lt. Col. Mande to support FDC. It okay for Tumukunde to support Museveni while still a serving officer, but not disagree with him. Who told you that the president is always right? There are many issues surrounding this government and the government wants us to believe that everything is just fine. If for sure Museveni knows that he is very strong as he claims in the country, why doesn�t he allow fair competition? Why doesn�t he allow people like the Tumukunde�s to offer themselves and compete in Uganda�s politics. If our president hears that someone is ambitious, he does anything to undermine him and start bringing stories of ghost soldiers and many more. You imagine, how many senior officers were the fourth division commanders before Tumukunde including Tinyefuza who is an expert on this matter. None of them have been court martialed. Remember the ghost soldiers started long time ago after the RPF of Rwanda had left. It is just now that the government is investigating the matter. When Saleh is serving, there is no ghost solders and when Tumukunde is serving, there is ghost soldiers. Well, the whole theory is that, Museveni is trying to keep these ghosts cases pending until after elections. He wants to drag some of the senior officers in the court that he believes won�t supp ort his third term project, until he manipulates the system using our tax payers money and stay in power forever or groom his own son. This is the logic and history will judge me on this
