CATHOLIC bishops from central and eastern Africa (AMECEA) have urged Joseph Kony and his LRA rebels to accept dialogue with the government to end the 19-year-long war.
They also appealed to rich nations to cancel the debts of the poorest countries.
These and other resolutions were read by Archbishop Paul Bakyenga of Mbarara Diocese, who was re-elected for another three-year term as chairman of AMECEA.
The function took place at Lugazi Cathedral on Saturday.
