A strong opposition yields democracy

It is our duty to defend the constitution of Uganda especially where it involves causing a fundamental change in the political system.

But to achieve democracy, we need a strong, united and transparent opposition, an opposition that will manoeuvre to oust the Movement.

This is the opposition that will be united against one cause; defeating the Movement one-party system that Ugandans have been subjected to for the last 19 years.
This is how we shall overcome the obstacles to democratic transition in Uganda.

I request all Ugandans to use this chance of political transition to challenge the Movement politics.

MR. Wags:

Having stated the above, I suggest you join the Uganda Peoples Congress. It is within the Congress that you will find a strong, united and transparent opposition.

FDC is , as you know , is basically NRM part two, and the DP , it's leader Paul Kawanga ssemogerere is pretty much a  discredited leader .....the man was in bed with Museveni.

What says thou?
