THE Vice President, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya, has compared President Yoweri Museveni to a lion.
"Museveni is a lion. When a lion goes hunting, it always eats bigger chunks of prey and leaves some. You ought to go where the lion is," Bukenya said.
Bukenya was on Tuesday meeting Makindye Movement supporters at his home at Kakiri in Wakiso district.
"My father was a hunter. He told me that in the jungle the lion would go after delicious animals. So, you had to be careful while there. You would either be eaten by the lion while chasing the other animal or you wait after the lion had had its share, then you get yours,"
Bukenya said, "Although Ihad small problems with some members of the government a few days ago, Museveni is a good man. He came along and said Bukenya should be given another term. He has so many competitors and you should go and mobilise more people to support him."
He urged Movementists to support a third term for Museveni and persuade the opposition to join the Movement.
"If you fail to convince them to join Museveni, then bring them to me and I will see what to do with them," Bukenya said.
"The city must change. Bring people from the opposition closer. Laugh with everyone and bring them closer," Bukenya said.
He urged them to mobilise people to vote in next month's referendum.
Bukenya said there was a need tochange from the Movement to multiparty politics.
"The Movement has been diluted and betrayed by a section of people within the National Resistance Movement," Bukenya said.

Was Bukenya's term up, is campaigning for another term, is he still reading from a prepared script or what? Or may he knows that 'Embogo ezaala, ne Mucuuma azaala' or slyly saying ' Ekiwola bakikwasa ngalo'?
