RTD. Maj. Ruranga Rubaramira has said President Yoweri Museveni is a dictator worse than exiled former President, Dr Apollo Milton Obote.

Rubaramira, who is the Inter-party Coordinator, for the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), said the bush war audit revealed that they sacrificed their lives for nothing.

"When we took to the bush to fight Obote, we knew we were fighting dictatorship, but only to learn today that Museveni is a dictator worse than Obote, and the late Idi Amin Dada," he said. Rubaramira was on Saturday addressing a rally at Kumi Township Primary School after launching FDC offices in the district.

He said statistics showed that Ugandans are poorer today than 20 years ago.

"The majority of the people are living below one dollar," Rubaramira said.
