Quoting Butooro.
"People are beginning to say that if things don't happen the way I want them to, then I will fight. If things happen contrary to the way they want them to be, then the system has been rigged and because they are not in his way of thinking, it will justify military coup and taking up of arms.
That is dangerous thinking. The idea that just because things haven't happened the way you want, it means they have gone wrong, seems to suggest that your position is right.
This country wants to move on and there is no perfect situation. Let's work on those imperfect situations to ensure that we come out with what is best for this country, rather than beating drums of war. This country deserves better."
The fact, fellow citizens are 1) the people of Uganda are very very tired of wars in Northern and Eastern Uganda which has been going on for now close to 20 years 2) the people are tired of endemic NRM created corruption in which a few clique within the NRM military dicatorship use state power to steal and rob from the people of Uganda. 3) The people are tired of NRM nepotism and tribalism..Under the circumstance, we DEMAND change. there is NO way that the status quo in Uganda should remain as it is for the next five or is it seven year if and when Museveni get his Ekissaga. The people of Uganda have remain thus far quiet while Museveni loads it over us. I say NO more. If we people must fight to liberate themselves that F it... we will fight. Indeed the constitution of Uganda is on our side..remember it clearly stipulates that anybody who picks up arms to defend the constitution of Uganda from those who would like to abrogate it.commits NO OFFENSE!!!
