Suddenly, we are now for one Uganda; one people (!!!!!!!). Where were these influential prominences for the past two decades resorting in their "sick leave" ?!?

Right now, Uganda is very sick. A friend tells me the election campaign fever is at 40, 9 Degrees Celsius (!!!).

The truth is, some of us who are more interested in issues are still waiting for election baits. One thing is for sure though, prevalently, key election issues are divided along Geographical axis. Some times, even more demographically so. För, while the South (especially Buganda) is eyeing Federo, the North is not!!!!

We are aware FEDERO DISCIPLES holler brotherhood of man because the want free rides.

Equally so, while the rest of Uganda is campaigning for DEMOCRACY, Northerners may not consider that a beneficial priority. That is something we can push forward until such a time when we (on equal terms and ALONG SIDES) TOGETHER WITH THE REST OF UGANDAN PARTICIPATE IN FORMING OUR DEMOCRACY (or evolution of).

So, even THIRD TERM MAY NOT BE A PRINCIPAL PRIORITY for ACOLI. Our fundamental concerns are: Peace resolution regardless of who the state- power wielder is.

Our concern is the repatriation and attempts to resurrect “ordinary” rural realm and values to our urbanised rural.

Why should some one come and holler democracy now when they have looked opposite at the moment of truth (and that for over two decades!!!)?!? Where were they?!?!

And, now they want to SERVE US THEIR OWN CONCEPT OF DEMOCRACY TO WHICH WE HAVE NOT BEEN PARTY?!?! WE DO NOT WANT ANY READY MADE DEMOCRACY. Democracy is PARTICIPATION.

If we have not participated along side on equal terms, then we should not take their out stretched arm either.

My Good Book says, A BROTHER IN NEED IS A BROTHER INDEED!!!!

The Ugandan political establishment should be made to understand what that means!

The way things percolate, only two parties, the MOVEMENT and THE UPC are capable of liberating our Terderos expectations. Hence the battle for Northern votes prevalently stands between the two giants.

No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding.
