On Fedsnet and other lists, Baganda have actually blamed Mengo for its ill-advised alliance with Obote, who had even before independence apparently indicated that he would cut Buganda down to size. So to many Baganda Mengo, is also largely responsible for nurturing a dictactor it had been forewarned about instead of a democrat like Ben Kiwanuka. They pick on Obote because beyond the problems, he proved himself their genuine enemy by refusing to acknowledge that he did anything substantially wrong to them.Joseph

I am not Saint Paul who would turn the other chick. If Baganda do not want to be Ugandans why should I. So, Mw. Kisodde, I have gone back to my roots up north and that is where I will be. And I have now decided to identify with UPC as a political party whether for worse or better. My Uganda now excludes Buganda. And since we blame leaders based on where they come from, i will blame Museveni for all uganda's problems because he comes from the South. Baganda have shown me how and where to draw the line. the buck stops with them. I will take the Kitufu speak who says he has many friends who are UPCs. I will say I have many friends who are Baganda. Those I will keep as good friends and as human beings. If I can befriend a Japanese, why can't I befriend a Muganda.
Is this good enough in simple and plain language?
