I hope there will come a time when Ugandans will finally realize that after indepedence in 1962, all these so-called wars of liberation have not and are not being fought to liberate Ugandans, but for selfish individuals to gain power and loot the state. Byesigye, Kony, Lakwena and Museveni are fully responsible for what has been happening to the Acholi people in the last 20 years. But he still has the audacity to address the Acholi people by phone from South Africa and acuse only Museveni for being responsible. If he is concerned about the people of northern Uganda why did he fight them from 1980-1985?
It is unfortunate that the break with the past is not any near. We have the same old outfits, dressing in new baggy jeans and tell us that they are fighting to liberate the people? From who I do not really know anymore. The very people who claim that they are fighting to liberate us should be the ones we are fighting to liberate ourselves from, not the other around.
Too bad, the Jumba Masagazis sang this damning song "Nze ndekka ne kadde kuba lyenjagala" (leave me with the oldies, they are the ones I like). That has blinded the population from seeing any different.

And let me state this as well. Kiiza Besigye while in the bush was very against the return of Buganda kingdom, and people like Mrs. Njuba fought tooth and nail to see that they work against him to reinstate it when they reach power, but Besigye's first word in his campaigning last time, was very simple. I will be a great friend of Baganda. Besigye did not tell us which Ugandans he will be an enemy.
