Dr. Frank Matovu,
You could not have stated the facts any better. You and Ms M. Musoke provide the ideal team for what we need at UNAA today. Her energy, enthusiasm and vision combined with your experience and dedication will define a UNAA like we have not seen before.
Ms. Musoke has already redefined UNAA in her campaign approach. She has given UNAA the opportunity that any would be leader of UNAA needs to put up a platform of what they stand for and let the whole of North America and beyond examine what they stand for way before we head for the convention. In the past names of candidates have surfaced on the day of the election. That can explain some of our failures in the past.
So on my part, I want to state that I am for this ticket 100%. I implore all you folks who want a serious UNAA that will provide strong leadership that will address our needs and concerns and make UNAA Uganda's most valuable economic resource, to join the Musoke/Matovu and LET US MOVE FORWARD.
Regards,
David Mureeba, PE
UNAA Chairman 1990-1995
UNAA Immediate Past Chairman & Ex-Officio Board Member 1995-1999

Fellow UNAA Members,
After careful consultation, I have decided to join Ms. Margaret D. Musokes Campaign as her Vice Presidential running mate. My decision is based on my belief that the synergy between Ms. Musokes vision and passion, combined with my experience and loyalty, is a winning strategy. Ms. Musoke has a clear vision in which direction she wants to take our organization. That direction closely matches the vision I have had for our organization for the past 17 years. In particular:
01. UNAA that is a member-based organization
02. UNAA that is free of partisan political bickering
03. UNAA International that recognizes the vital role of the UNAA Chapters,
works and supports their efforts and provides leadership and direction
in establishing new chapters in communities who have none.
04. UNAA that maximizes the potential that we have in our numbers.
By leveraging our collective earning capacity, working together in
our communities on a regional, national and International level, we can
become the economic powerhouse that we want to be.
05. UNAA that addresses the needs and concerns of our youth here in North America.
By working with Ms. Musoke and her new Board, I can help her achieve as many of the desired objectives as possible, in the next two years. In this technological age, UNAA has to stay responsive to its members. Ms. Musoke and I promise to run an agile and flexible organization that is readily accessible and responds to the specific needs of its member chapters and its individual members. I am volunteering my services not based on personal ambi tion, but based a strong desire to serve on a winning team that will make our community a better one for us and for those who will come after us.
I am convinced that the men and women against whom Ms. Musoke and I are running are honorable individuals. That is not the issue. The issue is whose vision best represents a better future for UNAA? I do not have any catchy campaign slogans. My only contribution is a clear direction and plan for UNAA for the next two years. That and a great desire to offer my services, to the organization that I helped to found.
For God and Our Country.
