Museveni said his was the only government that had ensured continuous peace for 20 years. He said the Movement had introduced good governance, peace, security and sound economic reforms.(really!!..I guess the wars and suffering in Northern Uganda for now 20 years,according to Yoweri Mucebeni does not count. kaguta talks about the fact that the NRM brought about "Sound Economy" and "Good governace"..what on earth is Kaguta talking about?
The fact is that under Yoweri Museveni's dictatorship, the country has never seen such unpreccedented level of "Corruption and sectarianism. If you are not from Mucebeni's Village Nyakatura or linked to Museveni's clan or speak Kisheshe you simply do not eat!
The President sympathised with the people of Kawempe, who he said were choking on heaps of garbage, but hastened to add that a person who commits suicide is not mourned.
"I told you not to elect Ssebaana (Kampala Mayor) and you refused. Now garbage is here. The good thing in democracy is that you don't make mistakes twice. The cure is in the vote. Don't elect people who don't work with the Movement. That's why Kawempe is limping," he said, as Kawempe MPs Sebuliba Mutumba and Latif Ssebaggala looked on. That yoweri Museveni would instead blame Mayor ssebanna Kizito for the hips of Garbage along which the people of Kawempe are living , is simply outrageous. Simply put That the people of Kawempe must live with hips of Gabage is yet another clear manifestation of NRM failure. Indeed, if the NRM dictatorship does not grant the neccessary resources to the mayor's offices which funds could be used to collect garbage..how then can one blame the mayor if and when garbage begins to accumulate in Kawempe? Kaguta would rather spend money bribing MP's to vote for his Kasanga project..sp end money hiring high roller PR firms to promote I hear Uganda's image abroad....meanwhile Kwaempe is submerged in trash!!!
