Mr. "minister" when 1,000 fellow Acholi citizens day every week, thatin my book  is called  exterminating the Acholi.. When  the regime you serve claims that your Army UPDF has kills   20 "rebels" today, 40 the previous week, 65 the week before,  theis in my book is called eterminating the Acholi.  . The Irony is that you kill this children after 'the government" of the day failed to prevent them from being abducted in the first place  by "kony rebels"..and now that they are "kony rebels"  you feel you are justified in killing them. KAMPALA THE State Minister for International Affairs, Mr Henry Okello Oryem, has told a meeting of Ugandans in UK that he will resign from cabinet if any person came with evidence that government has a deliberate policy to exterminate the Acholi. Addressing over 100 Ugandans and British officials at Thistle Whitehall in London at one day workshop organised by NRM UK & Ireland Chapter ,Oryem, an Acholi, castigated Ugandans in the Diaspora, especially within the Acholi communities whom he accused of peddling lies and misinformation meant to tarnish the government. Oryem's remarks, according to the NRM publicist for UK and Ireland, Mr. Dennis Katungi, were in response to a question by an Acholi in London who asked whether the NRM government had a deliberate policy to kill the Acholi and take over their land. Oryem, son of the late former Ugandan president Gen. Tito Okello Lutwa, was quoted by Katungi as saying that while it was a matter of extreme concern to the Acholi that the Joseph Kony-led insurgency should end now, lies and distortions were not the way forward. Oryem, who was supported by cabinet ministers, denied reports among the Acholi that the government had handed over Awa Ranch, the biggest ranching scheme in the north, to Libya. Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Kuteesa made a presentation on Uganda's role in regional stability. Other speakers included the State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Ms Hope Mwesigye, Local Government Minister Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere, Energy State Minister Micheal Werikhe and State Minister for Security Betty Akech
