Ed Kironde:

Why is it then the NRM Military Dictatorship is trying it's level best to block Radio Katwe site so that Ugandans may not freely have access to the site ,if as you mention, the site is a source of a quote " joke of the day"? It defies common sense does it NOT  for the NRM  regime to  black a site which is a source of "Entertainment  for many a Ugandan? Smith Mosolin and his crew of correspondence reporting for Radio Katwe Knwo what they are Talking about..You dismiss their reports at your own peril!!

You are not the only guillible one in the Diaspora, even people in Uganda are wondering that how could Ugandans in North America vallidate the comical RadioKatwe misinformation.  It is a good  site if you are looking for a  joke of the day.
To even dwell on that list for a minute, shows how unsophiscated one is and the unsuspecting Samart Musolin stupidly revealed doctored the original NRM Than You Note and left his digital "fingure prints" on the altered Word document.

Just for your benefit, the original NRM note was thanking NRM members in the Diaspora and I will paste here what that E-mail was all about and how it hit a number of Uganda forums in cyberspace.  Wherever Iam , I have never hidden my association with NRM and I proudly identify myself with NRM and if you you have been following, my phone and my NRM title are always attached to my media writings and it would be an insult to the government of Uganda if it could hire anyone identifying themsleves publically as "spy".  What would one really spy on a Sam Kasozi?
Even if you had a big bill board at the city saqure reading that " I am Sam Kasozi" you will stand there in Kampala nobody will careless who Sam Kasozi is.  If that would be the way you would seek to make ends meet, it is not one of my options

The Struggle continues

The majority in Uganda has spoken and NRM now has the mandate to govern the country for the next five years. We at NRM USA are elated and ecstatic about the fac t that we have been vindicated by the verdict. The events in Uganda during the just concluded election make a clear statement that the "house is not on fire" despite any justification to the contrary anyon e on this forum might want to make. We at the NRM know that we have achieved yet another milestone and are looking forward to the next five years to lead Uganda yet to greater heights.
I personally would like to ta ke an opportunity to thank the electorate in Uganda who exercised their right to vote their conscious in choosing the party that presented the best agenda that resonated with what was important to them. Despite the angry rhetoric in the air from the other side, the people were able to weed through the murky world of what was presented as an alternative and arrived at the ultimate truth that NRM was indeed the way to go. Now NRM under the great leadership of Yoweri Museveni retains stewardship of government and it's okay for those of us who subscribe to the movement ideology to celebra te and gloat a "little" bit.
To all our friends who jumped off the "Yellow Bus" and did not analyze issues in time to jump back on it before the elections, you now have an opportunity to objectively look at the destination our Bus is heading and hurry to catch it before it leaves the station lest you miss the ride to paradise. As it were, our Bus has indeed under gone a great deal of reconditioning and refurbishment; it has had the best tune-up and has a brand new set of tires; we are confident it will now get us to our destination more efficiently. For those who do not see it the way we do in the NRM, please take heart and know that there could only have been just one winner in the final out come of the election. In this case, the official result is undoubtedly NRM. Its okay to feel angry; its a natural human reaction. But remember that we are all in thi s together being that we are all Ugandans. It is critical for anyone that feels angry at this moment to take ultimate care in how you channel your anger. Uganda is still at that critical stage of developing impartial Democratic institutions, and the justice system is one of those institutions. The electoral guidelines on how to handle disputes in the aftermath of the election are clear, so please follow them to seek redress. Doing so by the way, will give credence the genuine desire to see our country grow, on the part of those who feel disenfranchised. Let us all move on with the intention of leading Uganda away from the past and make this a new era of Ugandans maturing to that stage of peacefully resolving conflict.

How valid are these lists of spies on Radio Katwe?
Someone, on reading the lists, called me and said, my
God! The list reads like my alumni from Makerere
University in the 80s. Is the Ed Kironde the same one
on Uganda Forum usually shouting for M7?

Is spying really for patriotic or personal reasons?
From what I see usually, people tend to spy because
they cannot make ends meet but again, if you are going
to sppy on your fellow Ugandans, what is your brief
and what do you report? That Sam Kasozi said this and
that on this site? Funny. I think spying is really for
losers and people who have no scruples. Shame on all
of them reading this article.

North America special - WHO IS WATCHING YOU LIST
By Smart Musolin - EBB (U)

This is a list of people who were written to from
Kampala, thanking them for a "successful" election.

Though by no means exhaustive, this list tries to
isolate ESO agents in those areas where there is a
sizeable Ugandan community. Some of these agents do
not know each other. ESO Uganda organized it this way
to ensure accuracy of intelligence submitted. They
sometimes report on each other and some of them are
double agents as well.

Members of the Uganda community in the specified areas
are advised to tread carefully around these
individuals. Do not be surprised if you are being
illegally spied on. These individuals have covertly
infiltrated almost all local and national Ugandan
organizations in North America.
