You know at a certain point I argued about the educating of Ugandans that the bad government (By Ssenoga's words) worked on, when one sees the Muyingo's dying, the Ayume's dying, the Kayiira's dying, the Abu mayanja's dying and I can go on and on, one wonders about the future of Uganda a nation that has for the last while just abandoned to produce the intellectuals. When the Movement and FDC were talking about fighting corruption and term limits, Maama Miria was talking about hunting for intellectuals and creating new ones. Yet Uganda is producing more and more corrupt future Ugandans, getting University degrees under the tables when the brains are just not there, one can not help but ponder questioning the future of this nation. Sadly it has come down on recycling the already educated, that today the best politicians we have in Uganda are Ruhakana Rugunda's and Mayanja Nkangi's. Most of these fellas are so old that we can loose all of them in a space of one year. Whether you want it or not, the future of Uganda's politics is in hands of The Seya's and Janet Museveni's. Those are the best out there as we speak. When you look on the armed force the best we have that we can send to sandhurst are Kainerugaba's. Go figure. So you wonder how a government that has been in power for now 20 years, why it still needs to use The Mutebire's it never produced. What intellectual has this government produced to replace all the ones former governments produced that it is using today? And you as a leader coming to power in 2011 who are you going to use? Are you again going to line up The Amanya Mushega's and Ruhakana Rungunda's and re appoint them, or this time you will recall the Rwakasiisi's from Luzira and start all over again?

Uganda was a fertile land, with very little population and producing the best out there, those were the major facts that an un informed man based on to call it a pearl of Africa. The leaders that achieved the independence from the same men, followed on that dream, a dream of building a large and strong school system, to make sure that every one with a brain is in a University and a free University education. So the production of those you are recycling until they enter the caskets. They maintained a low birth rates by using a village health care system, and building community centers to educate the population on ways of birth controls. As soon as that government was thrown out of power we dropped those two very fundamental poles. We not only abandoned birth control but we forgot the schools and started to make every kindergarten in the nation a University. Cooperative unions were as well sold or simply closed, it affected the agriculture and most of land has become unproductive. We have bumped the population to a frightening 26 million and by 2015 at same rate we are going to be 40 million. A new China of Africa. So you wonder if a man who called Uganda a pearl of Africa was to stand up today to address the same nation, what would have he called Uganda in relation to Africa? May we all raise up and cry for this nation's future !!

Good Morning all from the other side of the Atlantic.
