The UN Convention Against Corruption Implementation and Enforcement: Meeting the Challenges

Media Advisory Note
The Commonwealth Secretariat and Chatham House are hosting a two-day Anti-Corruption Conference in London from 24-25 April 2006. The conference will bring together leading speakers working in the field of anti-corruption. Media representatives wishing to cover the event are invited to attend.
Key speakers will include Commonwealth Secretary-General Don McKinnon; Nicola Bonucci, Director of Legal Affairs OECD; Stuart Gilman, UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC); Datuk Seri Zulkipli bin Mat Noor, Director-General, Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) Malaysia; and Guido Penshorn SC, South Africa, Prosecuting Counsel in Lesotho Highland Water cases.
John Githongo, former Ethics and Governance Permanent Secretary to the Kenyan Government, now Research Fellow at St Antony's College, Oxford, has also been invited.
