Ben and fellow citizens:
The Kaguta Regime is engaged in propagating and presenting lies before Ugandans and members of the International Commuinty. For instance how many so called "LRA rebels" can the regime conclusively state exist in Northern / Eastern Uganda, and Southern Sudan, and Eastern DRC Congo.? The answer to this question is of course Museveni and his regime simply do not Know period.
Secondly the dictatorship in Kampala cannot and should not begin to talk about quote " resettlements of IDP" if , as even many NGO's have pointed out and noted that the so called "rebel" activities is still very much rampant in Northern and Eastern Uganda . So the question then becomes is the dictatorship going to resettle people in a very hazardeous enviroment swiming with "rebels"?
The fact is that Museveni dictatorship is ONLY now
reacting to the IDP crises in Northern and Eastern Uganda because of international pressure on the regime to
do so.
Otherwise the regime is pretty much contented with the status quo.. In fact they have been less concerned about the Humanitarian crises for the past for the 20 years! during which members of the International community DID NOT make an issue of the IDP crises in Northern/ Eastern Uganda .
As many political observers have pointed out , the Northern and Eastern Uganda crises is NOW beyond the regimes capability to handle and address. It now requires the direct interventions of the United Nations and Africa Union . Then and only then can the crises in Northern and eastern Uganda be resolved.
Otherwise, if and when Museveni and his dictatorship are allowed to continue with their deceptions regarding the Crises in
the IDP camps,and haphazard re-settlement schemes, THERE IS MANY MORE DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN.
