No African dictator has inflicted as much suffering, destruction and death as Yoweri Museveni of Uganda. His wickedness has won him admiration and support of notorious racists in western nations. They applaud when he utters statements as "Africans are too backward for democracy.." In an interview with William Buckley published in the Atlantic Monthly of September, 1994, Museveni said that "I have never blamed the whites for colonizing Africa; I have never blamed these whites for taking slaves. If you are stupid, you should be taken a slave".

"Museveni always avoided portraying the African as a helpless victim. He argued that we should face up to our role as accomplices in our own slavery. He often argued that Ugandans are crooks and incompetent, and he preferred western expatriates to manage key institutions like Uganda Revenue Authority."

Rwabwogo Disowns Iraq Jobs Company

President Yoweri Museveni's son-in-law Odrek Rwabwogo has distanced himself from the ownership, management and operations of All Sec, a security and defence consultancy firm, currently under the spotlight for exporting Ugandans for jobs in Iraq.
Following a story in yesterday's Daily Monitor that the government is probing the firm, Rwabwogo, the proprietor of Terp Consult, a local public relations and consultancy firm called to clarify that:
"I am not connected to All Sec, I am neither a director nor a shareholder; they only came to me as a public relations person and I have connected them to the concerned persons."
The government is investigating how hundreds of Ugandans have, in the recent past, been sneaked into Iraq as guards of American installations there.
Rwabwogo strongly denied links with allegations All Sec saying the last he heard the firm was based at Bauman House.
In a separate move, All Sec management issued a one-page press release yesterday clearing Rwabwogo of any involvement in their business.
"Rwabwogo is NOT one of our directors or shareholders," the release read in part.
Dan Muganga, the Director of Operations at All Sec, said Rwabwogo's company Terp consult had only done public relations activities for them and helped them acquire 'business links'.
Asked what these business links were, Muganga replied, "I am not going to comment anything beyond this (Press) release."
Muganga said the company's negotiations for a license from the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Welfare where in advanced stages.
"We have secured the forms, presented our requirements and hopefully in two or three days we shall have the license," he said.
He was non-committal on whether the government was investigating All Sec over their Iraq deals without a license.
About six companies are officially licensed by the labour ministry to recruit people for jobs in Iraq including Askar Security, which has so far recruited 422 persons.
Asked if All Sec had dispatched any persons to Iraq, Muganga neither confirmed nor denied. "I said I am not going to take questions or comment beyond this release but what I can answer is that we are involved in a similar business."
