Uganda held by Lesotho [image: Uganda squad] Uganda are four points adrift of group leaders Nigeria. *Uganda's hopes of a place at next year's Nations Cup received a setback when they were held to a goalless draw in Lesotho in their Group Three qualifier on Tuesday.* The result confirmed Nigeria as group winners and qualifiers for next January's tournament in Ghana. Uganda remain four points adrift of the Super Eagles in second place and could yet pick up a berth as one of the three best second place finishers. But the Ugandans, who beat Nigeria 2-1 in Kampala earlier this month, would need a handsome home win over Niger in their final match in Kampala in September to stand any chance.
