While I applaud your moderating skills on this forum by choosing what you deem
members should read and what they should not, it would be helpful if you
allowed a free flow of information rather than recoursing to communist style of
being Omniscient. Ugandans at large need no cajoling on what type of leaders
they need to have come 2011. What they need is all the information availed to
them on potential wannabe leaders so that they can make informed choices.
Ugandans I believe would not support a theocracy nor would they want an
idiocracy.

Ugandans are sick and tired of hypocrites.Trust me in that and I am sure they
would least want to find themselves being misled by a bunch of people who took
almost 20 years to confess they were misled. Lastly,Ugandans are smart enough
to know what type of leader they want if the information they so much desire to
have on and about these leaders are not horded from them because some misguided
partisans are hell bent on misinforming and misinforming them.

Subject: what kind of president will Uganda need in 2011?

God willing, by 2011 the war in the north will be over.I suggest we use the
next period to assess the kind of leadership which should be in place after
2011.The following are some of my suggesstions:
1.. We need a president that can provide visionary leadership that
empasises reconcilliation. We need some one who could reconcial all the
aggrieved groups in the country and make them feel like they are part of Uganda
again. It is my belief that the current president does not qualify because he
was a big party to the conflicts in the north and Luwero.'What does it cost for
us to reconcile?' Those are some of the quesations Ugandans should be asking
themselves at the moment.I must acknowledge that Museveni's leaderhip has been
important to Uganda but i think his time was up ages ago.As a Ugandan, i
appreciate what he has done for the country but we need some one to take up to
the next stage. We need some one who can inspire people and make them part of
rebuilding. This person must have a vision for a united country through a policy
of reconciliiation.Minority parties in Uganda should be protected through this
vision.
2.. We need a leader who could assure the international community of our
commitment to democracy without playing around with the consititution like a
toilet paper.Our c --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~
