If there was a way of expression better than "Thank you" I would apply it.
Words can't express my appreciation for affording me the opportunity to
introduce the new generation of Northern girls to Ugandans both in the Diaspora
and at home. Night after night, I dreamt of the defining Herstoric moment that
I will stand in front of so many Uganda men and women of all calibre and
introduce myself with maximum pride. I hope the Vice President informs
President Museveni that there is a woman from the North who expands according
to size and that her first campaign stop was UNAA-SF - 2007.
Thank you UNAA for giving me the opportunity to address wife beating in the
presence of so many, particularly those in position to raise awareness. I hope
that the questions that I presented left many with a lot to think about. Thank
you, thank you, thank you.
To the Electoral Commission
Everybody that I spoke with told me they love me very much and that they
voted for me. So how did I end up with only 8 votes? I would like to know!
