COPS are hunting six young Rwandans who did a bunk at the end of a two-week
student exchange to Britain.

They were among ten youngsters invited from the poverty-stricken African
country.

British students raised £8,000 to fund the exchange which included day trips to
London and Cambridge.

The six were given hundreds of pounds in spending money and met Rwanda's
ambassador.

Vanished ... Ingabire

But Antoinette Masoso, 22, and Delphine Ingabire, 20, vanished before it was
time to head back to their genocide-ravaged homeland.

Then three boys and a girl aged between 16 and 22 crept away during check-in at
Gatwick airport last week.

Students at Hockerill Anglo-European College in Bishop's Stortford, Herts, were
said to be "shocked".

Principal Dr Bob Guthrie said last night: "The incidents which took place were
totally unexpected."

Local Tory MP Mark Prisk slammed the Rwandans' "abuse" of the college's
charity.

He said: "I can understand if the school is rather bitter."

Two-thirds of Rwandans live below the poverty line.
