How am I expected to respond to this? Who is claiming to represent you? I
wouldn't dream of it neither is it implied anywhere. By the way when a
Muganda is born Teso that does not make him/her an Itesot. Everyone born in
Bombo is not necessarily a Muganda. Bombo is merely a place of birth and not
a Ganda cultural enthronement.
Ignorance is not an entitlement to rant at everything beyond you?

The issue remains that if the price is clear, visible and verifiable then
the attendant sacrifices can be made. Mulindwa does not have to do anything

What is so funny in Uganda politics is the standing up in public and making

Muganda will turn into a good Muganda to lead Buganda. Umh but excuse me
please, can I as a Muganda chose some one that can represent me into all

simply swallow. And we are doing all this for we are more Baganda than you

Many members here are of the view that the Baganda installed Museveni and
must thus take the lead in uprooting him? When people ask at what price? We
then hear all sorts of moral arguments yet the price is about a political
compromise. Anti-Museveni UAH Wise Council then rubbishes federalism and the
like, telling us that that these are not a priority but we will come around
to it once Museveni is gone. On the other hand, Museveni and his lot say
that we need to make Uganda a middle-income country before federalism
becomes relevant meanwhile he loots the country dry through all sorts of
schemes. There is another lot that talks about the 'Buganda Question'
whatever that means.
Like Obote and Amin before him, Museveni made promises to the gullible
Baganda but as soon as he captured the reigns of power, his memory went
vacant and could not retrieve any agreed deals. You may recall he went to
Baganda asking them to work with him to remove Obote and that as soon as
Obote was out of the way Ugandans would sit down and we would iron out our
constitutional relationships. At the time he promised to support the Buganda
position for a federal constitution. Now he says he killed his animal and no
one should tell how to skin it. Of course with all the opportunists singing
in tune.
The generations of our grandfather and our fathers, honourable as they were,
were too trusting and the result is the mess we find ourselves in. The
question today is why should Buganda risk all on the promise that once
Museveni goes we can then agree our future relationships. If an uprising
against Museveni ever took place who will get the brunt of the violence?
Where would he take his revenge? On the other hand, if successful, who would
want to be in power dictating what is right and wrong for Buganda?
My brothers in Amuru have had their land given to Madhivani and incompetent
noises have been made. If this happened in Buganda, the expectation would be
demonstrations and pronouncements from Mengo with a few 100 killed and 1000s
detained. Life would then go on as if nothing had happened.
In truth if the price is right everything is possible. The idea of
sacrificing life and property for others to find their calling is not worth
any ones time.
Mr Mujabi was that your story in your short answer to Mr Oba? If I read you
wrong, please accept my apologies.
