That's the best he can get, pretend to be "Furious!" Otherwise, he knows
what to do, if only he can be serious for once and start doing what is good
for the country.
Once upon a time, during the reign of Idi Amin, smuggling "Kasse" or roasted
Coffee, was the order of the day, along Lake Victoria. Amin, even in his
illiterate state, knew that smuggling the then Chief National export
commodity was even more disastrous to the poor economy which he had helped
in creating. What did he [Amin] do to combat the smuggling? He appointed non
other than his "Chief Military advisor", Major Bob Astles, to take charge of
the "smuggling unit". Bob's short term solution was simple but practical. If
a suspected boat was seen floating on the Lake in the late hours of the day,
at night or refused to stop when flagged down during day time, the next move
would be shooting to kill the passengers, thereby, sinking the boat. Not a
good idea to combat crime, but understandably, the smuggling was reduced to
"smuggling" Bogoya, [Banana's] to Kenya, by road. Omugusha, [Sorghum] and
animal husbandry products, to Rwanda across the Gatuna border near Kabale.
Museveni, will never resolve the scourge of "eating" Tax payers money by his
expert gang of Mafia's, by just getting "Furious!".
