This Police Officer was killed by a bullet fired from the supporters of FDC
the Uganda official opposition which is promising to introduce a better
governance in Uganda. And an organization that has made absolutely no
statement about this death what so ever. Are we honestly attacking the
president for consoling this family and again using this death to play the
usual Uganda tribal card? So to Edward Pojim, Dr Kiiza Besigye who does not
care about this death was right and Museveni should have also not cared.

What a cruel joke !!!!!

Subject: {UAH} Slain Police officer...answer me

Folks;

I have read more press reports about the unfortunate killing of the Police
Officer, and came up with some observations that I want to share here:

1) President Museveni was quite in a hurry to visit and console the family
with their loss. This is unusual for Museveni, because he usually attends
funeral services of slain "NRM people" and some privileged citizens, rather
than travel to their residences.

2) There's a touching picture of the president and the widow of the slain
officer in the New Vision. Missing in that photo shoot is the customary
brown envelop " to help the family meet funeral expenses." What happened
this time around?

3) The late Ariong was a career police officer who had spent half of his 48
years on earth in the force. This is the kind of professional police
officers whom Museveni never trusted and actually despised. Why is Museveni
showing this level of concern for a professional cop whom he loathes?

4) The dead officer hailed from Kumi, a regional that has shown lukewarm
support for the president in the last two elections. Could Museveni have
used this unfortunate incident to try to gain some political mileage among
the Itesots of Kumi?

These observations may not amount to much, but they demonstrate a rare haste
by a callous president to reach out to a fallen policeman. What's your
take?
