George Okello

I agree with you but I have also another line of reasoning I need to put
across. Our country is suffering her worst development that to be diagnosed
really with malaria you need to go to Nairobi. I have every reason to
believe that sectors like Health get money allocation than what we see out
there spent. So one must wonder why that money is not seen used when
everyone is crying of corruption. I need to call an Independent accountant
like KPMG to go to Uganda and critique the papers of income especially of
the people in the opposition of this government that would stand to
critique this government but have failed. We have ministers accounted. We
have permanent secretaries accounted, we have principle secretaries
accounted but who accounts the members of opposition? And yet the members of
opposition that would critique this government are dirty rich some to having
money way passed government of Uganda employees.

I am therefore calling for an independent accounting firm to find out how
the following people have made their whooping cash they use to live such a
lavishly lives that our people have failed to live ever in this government.
And I need that investigation to start with the following names. {1} Dr
Kiiza Besigye {2} Mugisha Muntonyera {3} Anne Mugisha {4} Betty Kamya {5}
Olara Otunu {6} Ssabassajja Mutebi {7} Norbert Mao {8} Katikiro of Buganda
{9} Wafulla Ogutu and all MPs of all opposition parties.

I have a strategic reason why I think this investigation is of great
importance, every government is a bad government, it serves self-interests
and it serves only its members, good governance comes from how much pushing
the opposition does in a country, and that is why the parliamentary
democracy is great for you always have someone with an eye to the actions of
a government to keep it in check. However in Uganda we continue to see a
government that does not care about our country and the opposition parties
not putting this government to account. I am challenging you tonight to tell
me one single confrontation, Uganda government has got with UPC in the last
six months, and I need only one. And yet they have a job to do but they
simply get richer and richer as our infrastructure gets destroyed let alone
sold to cheap buyers. I need to know how the opposition members get more
rich than the government ministers when we have such a massive corruption in
Uganda. How can a Kabaka send his wife to London to have a baby when Baganda
women are dying in filthy labor wards? If that is not un ethical you tell me
what is. When we leave these facilities to the opposition without
challenging them how can we create a responsible government? And I am just
asking here !!!!!

I need to become the opposition of the opposition.

My friends EM, Sekajja and Gook,

I agree with your observations. I do not think Bidandi Ssali should be sent
abroad for medical treatment at the expense of the long suffering Ugandan
people. This is totally ludicrous. The man is a war criminal. But my main
interest in his regaining health and living for a few more years is that he
should stand trial for war crimes . I don't care if the man dies, but he
should live longer so he can face trial for the massive crimes he
committed, commissioned or allowed to be committed.
