This is honestly a very pathetic stand to be taken by UPC. Honestly UPC is a
political party and it is out to sell its self as a better option to the
sitting government thus the statement its self is very childish. I mourn
for the death of the soldiers, you mourn for them, my mother mourns for
them, but UPC the political party selling its self to be a better
replacement from Museveni stands up to do what you and me dont do, they go
after policies they go after why those soldiers were there. But here is the
entire stupidity of the UPC we have today and these are two direct quotes
from an even prepared statement. UPC described the slain soldiers as the
true patriots and gallants of Uganda whom he said were travelling to the war
tone horn of Africa nation to embark on the final phase of total
pacification of the country that has not had a functional government for
over two decades. AND He explained that UPDF was playing a major role in
putting Somalia back on the democratization process after having been
blighted by lawlessness and terrorism for years. End quote. Seriously? Is
the UPC in Uganda house today believing that UPDF is in Somalia to pacify
that country? Does UPC believe that UPDF is after democratizing Somalia?
This party now has become the army spokesman and the spokesman of the
ministry of foreign affairs? One has honestly to see UPDF as an occupier
force for some of us do not get why we are losing soldiers in Somalia let
alone spending the tax payers money, whose war are they fighting? Do you
know for I dont? And this is what UPC has been lowered to? Becoming the
only true spokesperson for UPDF? And where else is UPDF pacifying? Eastern
Democratic of Congo?
Why dont we simply stand up and move the party from Uganda house to firkin
State House? Geez !!!!!
