On record

The Olara Otunu UPC has no policy on Somalia and it has no policy on by
elections. Which pops up a question is it still a political party?

Uganda Peoples Congress -

U.P.C. foreign policy/-ies as on Somalia as agreed cannot be ostritched

away, then spiced up with messages of 'gallant'? contributions by Uganda

merceneries - the latter being exact opposite of U.P.C. approaches to peace.

Numerously have I cautioned members here about mixing up Ostritches

with Cranes, the naturally crowned birds. Why not try & live out our true

foundational peace calling and assigned names e.g. my own assigned uni

sx. Yoruba ancestral Sir - name (Ade - the crown)(ro - is here to stay) is

not one that I would voluntarily replace with some hideous Ostritch name!

The U.P.Congress silent or unclear policy/ies dilemma currently seem to

be worsening rather than improving to transparency levels. Could it probably

have to do with all the ongoing complex East African regional' issue and
Nairobi

meetings (one again on Sept. 5), where Uganda is the one most looked up to

for militarized leadership?

The Rwanda defence minister claims Congo humiliations by rebels were caused

by the soldiers disorganisation and hunger not Rwanda. He says their only
hope

now for regional leadership is Uganda, as confirmed at a recent interview -

Comrades,

Kenya.

I think Okello Lucima sent a very wrong message when he posted a message
about the helicopter crash on Mount Kenya, praising the "gallant " efforts
of Ugandan soldiers in Somalia. I responded to him and said I had no
sympathy at all for those Ugandan soldiers who died because I consider them
merceneries.

The UPC as a party does not want any Ugandan soldier to be fighting in
Somalia. In fact the UPC wants Ugandan troops to be returned home and for
some of them to prosecuted for committing war crimes in Somalia.

Otunnu really has to clarify UPC foreign policy becasue on this issue of
militarry involvement in Somalia, 95% of UPC members are totally opposed to
Ugandan soldiers being deployed in that country. As a party, we believe the
Somalis have done no harm to Ugandan people and should be given a chance to
resolve their own political problems without foreign interference. No good
will ever come from Ugandan soldiers occuppying Somalia as they are doing
now and acting as a proxy army of the USA and cutting blade of the CIA.

We have enough problems of our own and foreign military adventurism should
not be a policy that our party should promote.

Jimmy,

I had not gone out ostrich myself, I was playing Cranes and, I was hoping
that you would - at some stage be wrong.

But, well, Jesse Jackson whom we have both, met would say ' keep hope
alive'. Uganda is possible.

Ojame Ochieno,

I seriously doubt you will receive any credible answers. Cde Lucima has
ostrich tendancies and as such his head will be buried in the sand hoping
that we will all miraculously disappear as Olara leads them State House via
Capitol Hill.
