It is very very troubling when Western countries only look for solutions in
raising taxes, and it gets very troubling when a government as of Obama gets
elected for it promises to raise taxes, and I think I have noted about this
nightmare somewhere in my postings. We need to start to look at other means
of raising funding our governments, services and needs than raising taxes.
Yes we have many things we can change, we cut down on the waste we have in
governments, here is an example. When a government department gets a budget
of 5 million dollars and you reach the end of the physical year, you file a
report of your expenses and you have a surplus of a million dollars in your
budget, in the next physical year budget you get a budget of 4 million
dollars. So in a true Western government system, we penalize an officer that
saves money in a department. This behavior has created a habit of government
departments spending very recklessly at the end of the physical year for
they have to make sure all moneys are spent before the year ends.
Let us change that, so that if a head of a department comes back with a
surplus in a department account, we give him a bonus, what is so wrong with
that? But let us also allow him/her to pay a bonus in his department to
officers that save money to government sub departments so that we create a
ministry running on saving money from top to bottom, and we pay for those
that are working to save. The system that we have today pays for you have
wasted government money. And it behooves any intelligent mind why anyone
would care to spend reasonably when you only get promoted by over spending.
But we do not care on how we spend for we can get more and more and more to
spend by raising taxes. What really worries some of us on Obama is his
belief that the camel which pays the taxes has a back that will never ever
break, so he is going to keep on bringing it up on. Look very carefully in
your government job you will realize that departments that spend recklessly
get more and more money they expand and they continue to burn money. That
has to stop.
I have watched the manner at which we pay taxes in this country and we need
to change it too. For example can anyone explain to me why we pay an income
tax? It is a stupid tax for it penalizes people for working hard. We go on
an employee that has worked over time and throw a hummer on him and we get
an employee that has worked 40 hours and we do not tax him/her that much,
how the hell does it make sense to you to punish an individual that has
worked hard? So remove the income tax and only tax people when they spend
the money to buy things, it is called tax on purchases. And here is where it
becomes very silly, you have taxed an employee at source and you have called
it an income tax, so what he has taken home is the net pay for him/her, why
do you turn around and then tax him/her on the purchases when he took home a
net pay? Does that make sense to you? Tax him/her on income tax or remove
the tax on purchases you simply cannot tax on both ends, for at the rate
the Obamas are going today we might as well simply hand over what we make
to them and they decide what to hand us back. And here is the worst, we pay
in Ontario about 15% tax, 7 to the Federal and 8 to the province, there
about, on all purchases. But this is what they do not tell you, we pay 15%
if you buy a car for example, 15% when you buy a shirt, 15% if you buy a
computer so this is to show you that it is 15% tax on all things, but did
you know that you pay about 41% tax when you buy gas? Now explain that
difference. If we pay 15% on all purchases can we pay also 15% on gas? Then
they scream bloody murder.
And it all starts with that small voice Let us tax the very rich well is
it a crime to be rich in a capitalist society? I thought that is what we all
work for? Oh better way, I thought that is why we are in Western countries
than Stalingrad? And I watched the battle of our Federal Finance minister
with the European bankers about taxing the bank accounts for trust me that
is where we are heading, they are going to tax up to your level. The
Europeans want to tax you for saving money into the account, and the British
were adamant with that soft voice, we will tax you according to what you
have. Well my kids were trained to save so we pulled them little money here
little money there, and all had the same rights, but one of my daughters
refused to spend from day one, she has all her money from childhood saved
for her first mortgage, today over 10 Gs. I have a son that has nothing in
his account for he gets it and burns it. The British want to go after my
daughter and tax her for saving her money. Well they want money to give my
son a food stamp. How the hell does that make sense to you? But the bankers
have sweetened the speech with if you have 10 Gs we will take only 5% tax
and if you have half a million we will take 10% and if you have 50 million
we will take 15%. Well let me spend the 50 million and we see how you will
survive. And that is what we have failed to realize in United States for
they are going after the rich people. Well tomorrow it is you with 5 000
dollar savings. It is a very dangerous reasoning that we somehow have failed
to think through.
We need smaller governments, we need to revise retirement plans, we need to
privatize services for privatizing them creates competition thus cheaper
prices and opens government services to competitions, we need to shut down
unions and to reverse very old agreements that were made when days were
good, but we need to privatize retirement plans. Government are not about to
run retirement plans but to supervise those running them, we need to get
governments out of business, for example why do airlines become government
responsibilities? We need to cut down on government corporations and combine
them for efficiency and productivity. Why do corporations like Post Office
still run in 2012? But we need to stop surviving on wars. They are
unproductive in the longer run but they create indirect expenses. Imagine if
United States was not pumping money into Iraq Afghanistan Libya Syria and
soon into Iran. And I am not going after the money spent to fight but the so
called AID money, just how much goes into those countries? Can you imagine
if we pumped that money into United States and created jobs? We would have
jobs we would have taken care of Vets and we would have done a whole lot of
things with it. But we pick it up and dump it out there with no clear
returns showing, and we do not know we will pump it in till when. It is
displine it is cutting out ego it is restraint and spending what we have. We
simply cannot survive as a society for governors waste and the people pay
more and more and more. The leaders are called Give me give me give me give
me and we keep on giving till second coming.
At this rate Obama will have his retirement but Malia and Sasha will never
find a retirement penny. And that statement is as good as The Canadian
Dollar.
