Friends
I think the worst thing that has happened today is the call for all of us to
stand back and we reflect. And thank God for if I was a parent of young kids
today I would be very scared to hand my kid to a day care center. I really
would have been. And for several reasons. There is a whole lot of crappy
situations that have been created by our governments in our midst that the
governments themselves do not tell us about. For example did you know that
we have many residents in our neighborhoods that come back from war with
very twisted heads and they are simply put in our midst? And yet they have
created as much havoc as can be. And let me go back, when soldiers come back
from war zones they come back twisted no debate about that, but are you as a
parent informed where they live? No they show up and you get a nice neighbor
on your block and you do not know that his head is twisted. A guy out in
Western Canada, walked into an army barracks to the payment office, he asked
them for his pay, they told him that the pay is next week, so he drove his
small car to the office of his wife, and took the 4X4 back to the barracks,
he was found hooking up the entire container which was housing the payment
office to drive it out of the barracks with all employees on their
computers. Did the neighbors of this former soldier know all these details?
Actually another one came home and everyone was happy they had a dinner with
all friends and after the dinner he walked with his wife to bed. The wife
started to ask him how it was as a very normal discussion, as he was
talking, he went under the pillow and pulled out a revolver and shot the
bulb, he goes, firkin light in my eyes, Geez, what were you asking again
honey? !!!!!!!! Did the neighbors of this soldier know all these details? A
soldier came home and the wife as a working mother left him with a toddler
their baby, everything was alright till when the baby started to cry, he was
a good father so he checked him and the baby had not wet the diapers, he
fade him, he played with him but the twat kept on crying. He walked to his
bed room picked up a revolver and pumped bullets in the kids brains. Did
the neighbors of this former soldier know all these details? And I can go on
a list of very many in this situation, for it is all over the place only
that CNN does not report it. Yes Western democracy forbids that.
So I wonder, how many of your neighbors in your own very block were in Iraq
Afghanistan Libya Gaza you name it? Do you know them? Do you go to market
with them? Do you attend church with them? Do your kids study with their
kids? May be instead of going after gun control we need to create a
legislation where all returning soldiers have to be publicly identified. It
only have to be criminally stupid for anyone to send kids that have grown up
in this so protected society to a war and expect them to come back and
behave normal. It is going to reach a point this paragraph to be an open
discussion.
But we need to also cut down on the hypocrisy we have in society. I received
a streamline of President Obama crying for these kids were too young to
die. Tell me, where were his tears all along when we have been piling up
photographs after photographs of dead kids in Pakistan schools for a drone
blew up their faces in class? Where was Obamas As a parent I grieve for
these kids as if they were mine when we posted over and over the
photographs of Palestinian kids blown up by cluster bombs? And I get very
scared for yes we can keep quiet about this kind of hypocrisy but it can
only go on that long till a school where your own kid is blown up by a
deranged man that has issue with his family. Then what? And that is the
danger of our society, for in 2012 we take no stand, have you seen how
blacks vote for Obama for he is black? By the way it was so funny for there
was no single black that ever stood up and listed what he had ever got out
of him. But MS Joe was walking in street lights for a Blackman is a
president. This man is not even a Kenyan, how is she exciting a West
African? And just asking here !!!!! Our grandfathers in these lands changed
a whole lot of things for good, for it was not about what color is so and so
it was how much are you producing? The brains I have seen in these forums,
one wonders if we would have even got out of slave trade. And that is true
for trust me Edward Pojim would have stood very firm and defended it as a
good tool to create jobs for blacks that live poorly in Africa. Society has
been so militarized, we have blown up so many people and killing has become
a fun, and yet we have leaders that simply do not care but play politics.
May be it is time when a Pakistan kid a Palestinian kid gets blown up we
take the buses and demand a protection of children. It becomes terribly
pathetic when we start to lament only when our own kids are blown up. It
really does.
May all that have lost their lives rest in peace.

Joseph;
The pain of this level of atrocity confronts us all; you saw President Obama
breaking down at the White House press briefing a few hours ago.
Gun rights advocates maintain that guns do not kill; it's demented people
like this matricidal psycho, who kill. May be so, but since psychos look
like the rest of us, then we all need to be disarmed to ensure that guns
don't slip into the wrong hands.

Edward:
There must be a better system of controlling easy access to guns, security
on campuses must be tightened, if possible close to Airport entry. Children
are the future of any nation on earth. The greatest of all nations being the
US of A. If this greatest nation cannot protect it's children, how will it's
greatness survive when almost each year, children are murdered in cold blood
by the same method, using the same loopholes, using easily accessible guns
without any justifiable reason?

Joseph:
>From what I've read so far, this gunman wanted to kill his own mother, who
was a teacher at the school. And he did that; she was the first victim.
So, being a son of a teacher there, likely he had easier access to the
school than others would, under any normal circumstance.
However, he also was dressed in bullet-proof clothings; so, may be if there
was a guard posted at the school entrance, the guard might have considered
the killer suspicious and stopped. Often, after these tragedies, there are
lame attempts at beefing up security here and there.
But for a brief period of time. So, the cycle of violence continues. That,
unfortunately, is the sad commentary of life in the US.

It is another very sad day for the country, the victimized families and all
peace loving people. Our heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families
and our prayers for the injured
victims for quick recovery.
I just hope and continue to pray that one day, the legislators and State
Governors, will find it necessary to enforce stricter laws that would deter
such careless and heartless individuals from entering public schools and
take precious lives at ease.
This not the first second or third time this kind of tragedy is happening.
How many more tragedies do we need to witness before serious measures could
be taken? If our Airports are more safer than they were since September 11th
2001, why is it so difficult to curb gun violence in our schools? It is a a
very sad day, it is a very shameful experience !
