I think that Museveni talks to play on people’s minds, inside himself he
fears but respects AMO, but Museveni is also aware that if he goes after
AMOs name he eats from the hands of the Ki Luts kinds, and those are of more
value to him than AMO, for it bothers critical thinkers to see that a
president that stated that if AMO ever comes back to Uganda he will be shot,
yet at his death he gave him a state funeral with a very respectful speech.
And at those days Museveni was actually not attending funerals, but he came
and made a very specific speech. Inside Museveni’s heart he knows that AMO
must be fully respected. But I think he is playing both cards to eat from
non-thinkers yet he walks back and stabs them in the back, for one wonders
why all those that have hated AMO so bad and supported Museveni with his
Luwero to go after AMO, never stood up to question why the very same
Museveni was handing him a state funeral. I can state today that no man in
Uganda including Ssekabaka Mutesa has ever been buried in a respectable full
state funeral like AMO. Yet not even a single one of them stood up to
protest against Museveni’s decision, and trust me had the family wanted to
bury him at Kololo he would have been buried at Kololo, cut the Richard
Mukasa crap. They are very good at talk and talk and talk. It was so
interesting that no constituency wanted Mama Miria to visit it during the
campaign than Nakaseke. Go figure. And you do not blame them for most of
them are UPC members only rejected by Olara Otunnu the person.

If you put a man like Sam Luwero to Uganda house you can see that party
growing by limbs for the support is with-in there.

Subject: {UAH} Museveni repeatedly calls MP Akena "that child.."

Folks;

Given that Hon. Jimmy Akena is a dully elected MP, a grown, married man, I
find the president's repeated reference to him as "that child"
condescending.

I'm aware that the president was being this patronizing out of the African
context of father-son relations; however, both he and Akena have been in
politics long enough and should salute each other according to the expected
respect each has earned.

Moreover, Museveni attacks Akena's dead father, and goes on to offer a
friendship hand to the MP: sounds diabolical to me.
