Have you forgotten that they know its a way of earning now that she was
rejected but they still dupe the western world through funding.

Betty Kamya was a politician, she stood and the people rejected her, why is she
still in active politics?

All these politicians aspiring to make their way into the leadership our
country are nothing but opportunists.

George Okello

Hi George

Nkwagala nnyo. Longtime. I have not checked my mails for ages because I am too
busy.  Luck enough, when I was thinking of which one to read and which ones to
delete, I chose to read your response to Kamya.

Indeed, Kamya is an opportunist. Her opportunism cannot not allow her to
clearly state that Uganda is under military dictatorship. To maintain/sustain
her opportunism, she continues to falsely blame Kadaga, the Constitution,
former speakers etc.

Kamya gives a false impression that any speaker or any politician in Uganda can
over-turn M7's dictatorship by simply going to parliament and change the
constitution. With Kamya, a constitution is an end in itself yet, it is just
one of the many means to an end which cannot work in isolation of others.

Political opportunism blurs critical thinking and intellectual honesty. What is
the way forward?

independent of the executive! If women activists want to explain away Kadaga’s
problems as chauvinist driven, they must also explain former Speakers Wapa’s
abdication of the Speakership  and  Ssekandi’s apathetic  tenure of that
office!

(iii) As if that was not enough, Kadaga naively clashed with the international
community, head on, on the Anti-Homosexuality Bill. Now she has three powerful
foes, the international community, Museveni and the media! (iii) Gololaism.
Golola promised kickboxing watchers a great match, but did not invest in
learning the real game, part of which is to know your opponent’s strength, now,
he stands a humiliated man!
