It is a go and I have missed the geist of it for you have used the trick the
Edward Pojims and Ocen Nekyon used to deprive me of discussing anything
political in the election of Obama, for I was supposed to sing Kumbaya all
day and all night. And you have decided to sit on the knowledge you have in
that city, than allowing a discussion on what crisis these Cardinals are
facing in this election. And this is what is so funny, I can see the church
of His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins from the window of my bedroom for I
live right down town, and he is not a private man at all, he is very good
and he speaks out his mind to a surprise of very many people. I had a face
to face talk with him last Wednesday and he was all up beat going out but he
was never delusional about the church’s problem/s. I find it very troubling
that you are so defensive in discussing the problem of The entire Papacy
today. As I was forced to forget discussing American election, I have been
forced to loose discussing the Papacy at this election. And yet I do so
freely in the white society.

But Ocen Nekyon and Edward Pojim are more Democrats than whites.

I have just been informed that the Cardinal of Toronto His Eminence, Thomas
Cardinal Collins is boarding an Air Bus out of Toronto Pearson to Vatican
tomorrow. So this thing is on a go.

Subject: [UAH] Cardinals begin arriving in Rome for Conclave

A number of cardinals have today arrived in Rome and attended the

Pope's speech delivered at the close of the Lentine spiritual exercices that

have been going on for a week at the Vatican. And they are expected to be
part of

the vast crowd that will join Pope Benedict tomorrow Sunday for the Angelus
prayer

which the Pope recites from his window before masses gathered in St Peter's
Square.

There are reports of the publication of the Motu Proprio decree in just a
few hours to enable

the conclave to take place as soon as possible instead of waiting for more
days again.

And other very serious reports speak of a top secret report that concludes
the inquiry carried out

by three great cardinals on the Pope's orders, and the report aims at giving
some revelations on

particular matters within the Roman Curia. And some voices say the report
may facilitate a pre-choice

consideration among voting cardinals on a very clean and impeccable
candidate capable of reforming

Vatican's solid bureaucracy.....

And there are also observations to the effect that whereas in olden days the
conclave would take into consideration

proposals on candidates in good books with some leading powers of the time,
this coming conclave will

indeed take into consideration the views voiced by public opinion on
potential candidates. In other words, the

voting cardinals will be very careful on not ignoring candidates from other
areas, including notably the Southern

Hemisphere which has a number of very potential papabili.

All voting cardinals will have to participate in the Papal election. Only
one cardinal, the Archbishop of Djakarta in Indonesia

has indicated his inability to travel to Rome due to health problems.

The conclave has been described as the best scrutiny in the world. It's top
secret, involves the most sovereign churchmen,

its results can't be tampered with and the voters are only answerable to
God! Therefore that explains why whoever comes out

elected Pope is considered a man of merit who has just got to be accepted
and respected! The one who will be elected Pope

this time will be acclaimed all over the globe. He will have won the vote by
beating close to 40 other Pope-Ables.

There will indeed be no alliances axed on nationalisms, continents, etc...
This may give a bonus to African candidates. Although

one leading news media observer has tried to marginalise them by saying they
were in general very conservative, incapable of

risking reforms and were globally dependent on Rome and Europe for finances!
But this kind of assertion on the leaders of the

world's fastest growing Church within Catholicism, with now 180 million
adherents or even over 200 million according to other sources which put into
account the difficulty of gathering any correct data in many African
countries, is naive and far-fetched! It

ignores the hardships the African clergy faces almost on a daily basis to
carry out its work. And it doesn't even put into

consideration the very excellent results obtained at many high levels. Now
among the regularly cited top 20 Pope-Ables are four

very great cardinals who have achieved so much for the Church and society
and world order and this has contributed to giving

Catholicism a very high profile al over the globe. Cardinals Peter Turkson,
Laurent Pasinya Mwosengo, John Olurunfemi Onaiyekan,

and Robert Sarah are very eminent impeccable Chuirch and world figures of
tremendous respect. And their attitude and look at

Church matters will indeed push very far the Church once anyone of them
becomes Pope regardless of whether he is conservative

or not! They will help push the Church towards necessary reforms that are
now a crying necessity for improving things!

While we pray for a good conclave, it's good to notice that many voices
agree on a young able-bodied Pope who will be able

to travel and meet peoples even in remote lands. Benedict XVI has shown this
necessity through the many trips he has carried out

during his short pontificate. And he has made it to Africa on two
occasions. And has been impressed by the dynamism of the Church in
Africa.which he has often referred to as the real lungs of Catholicism.
These lungs won't inded let down the Chuirch!

They will pump into its body a lot of oxygen and it will always be
revitalized!

Turkson has impressed with his statements condemning homosexuality and
paedophilia, etc And he has also won some credit

by saying Africa could produce a Pope and that he was ready to take up the
responsibility once elected! Of course some wanted

to qualify this as a statement that discraims but now many are happy to see
that the cardinal invests full confidence in the conclave

and in priesthood which he once qualified as a package that involves being
appointed bishop, cardinal and Pope.

And his views on IMF are observations of a very distinguished churchman who
cares for everyone's lot!

Let's indeed pray for the cardinals and let's all be ready to accept their
choice!
