Assalaam alaikum.
While growing up in the Ugandan villages and towns, we were told by the
media, teachers, politicians, etc how great Margaret Thatcher was. Upon
being asked who their role model was, every school girl answered Thatcher.
My African friends are telling that the case was the same in their
countries. I just wonder how many other western personalities, ideas,
styles, etc do people in Africa see or believe as true or darling when they
are actually bad or hated by citizens in western countries
Little did we know or we were told how hated and brutal Margeret Thatcher
back in UK. The British are very excellent in eulogising their dead ones.
Phases such as ' she/he (the deceased) was superb, heroic, loved every one,
will be missed, blah blah are not not uncomon at every funeral services.
To my shock as a child who grew up in Kisaasi now residing in UK, the
British people since the news of Maggy's death have been street partying and
cerebrating her death.

A number of MPs even cursed her in the parliament two days ago. Strong and
bitter statements such as; THE BITCH IS DEAD, MAGGY ROT IN HELL, etc are not
scarce on UK streets.
My questions are:
1. Why were we told lies?
2. Have you really ever thought about how your children, muslims and friends
will remember you in terms of haram and halal things you do or you think we
are forgetful?
If the British people are singing 'the witch is dead, rot in hell' in
reference to Margaret Thatcher's death, I cant think of the right words
Ugandans will use upon Kawenkene dictator Museven's death unless someone
helps me.
