Actually Ssabassajja is of a more danger to Ugandans today than Museveni,
you put the two men on a question paper of whom I would live with if I had
no option of refusing both, I take Museveni hands down. And why? Museveni
looks in your eye and tell you that the is using you, Ssabassajja kills his
own people for crying out loud. Do you see Museveni allowing a war into
Ankole? There you go. What we have in Mengo is a man that does not give a
fuck on his so called people and he only cares about his own pockets
probably with the little ones he makes pregnant and he hides them to end up
with kids without mothers. The man is a disaster to Buganda and a shame to
those of us that are Baganda. If I raised up in this city and had a baby
without a known mother, The Canadian society would accept him, but old men
like Gook would stand up and demand to know the mother. Now extrapolate
that, how did he end up with Ssemakokiro a true bastard? Do you know what we
call a Muganda with children he is ashamed to show the mother? Thank you.
But if it was in my sole powers, both men Museveni and Ssabassajja belong on
Kalittunsi.
Some of us are simply too fade up with this crap !!!!!! Geez.

All this will end when M7 departs. He has used these people for intimidation
purposes because, the combat uniform is a threat psychologically. No body
wanted to have those people to be close to the Kabaka but, M7 used his
security threats to convince Kabaka about his security. He used some of his
Baganda close allies to stress the point and to convince him after the
Kayiira incident. It was thought to be temporary and some of the people
hoped, M7 would be gone by now after the elections. I guess they
miscalculated him as you can see today. But, when those crooked MP's took
the Shs. 5 million to change the constitution, everything has since changed.
Don't worry though for, this will end and soon it will be indeed.
M7 is so afraid of the unseen players (shadows)and he's a coward because; he
doesn't even trust his own. He's the only leader whose protection unit is
all but combat dressed people. He's more connected to the military uniform
and that's why he likes to dress the same way. Even though, the constitution
spells out clearly the civilian concept in our system of governance, M7
doesn't respect it. I haven't seen any leader being escorted by men in
military uniform like he is. Even worst dictators try to cover up and buy
these people some suites and dark glasses but, for M7, Noooo!! That's why he
imposed the same thing with the Kabaka but; we all see the negative impact
to the impression. It looks awful and it's not only you who has raised this
issue. I hope you can understand since you've been following the current
affairs. Perhaps, we can pose this question to the soon to be member of our
own, Gen. Daudi Sejjusa. I'm really convinced, he'll be joining the
discussions soon since he'd feel much obligated to do so. Besides, he won't
be employed soon and, being their on what he calls "Katebe", will probably
force him to join a discussion group. Just make sure you pause this question
to him since he's always been one of the insiders. How things change so
quickly!!!

Dear All:
I some times find it a little disturbing to see a Cultural leader surrounded
by UPDF soldiers, all geared up in their military uniforms, armed with
assault weapons.
Personally, i would think that the army presence around the Kabaka and other
cultural leaders, represents a bad image, especially when one remembers the
1966 crisis, when the army invaded the Lubiri.
Is the Kabaka and the rest of the cultural leaders entitled to security?
Yes, i strongly believe they are entitled to all the security they need and
are entitled to. My only concern however, is that the army and anything that
reflects the army presence should be reserved for politicians and fellow
military environs.
If one would take interest in knowing which section of the of the security
departments in the United Kingdom, is responsible for the protection of the
Queen of England, one would be surprised to learn that it is not the British
army.
If one was to take take interest in finding out which Security Federal
department is responsible for the President of the United States of America,
am sure, the direct U.S army involvement, would be ruled out, even though
part of the Secret Service Unit, is composed of some retired Army, Police,
Marines, Air force officers. But even then, they never appear around the
President dressed in military combat uniforms.
Similarly, if the security detail of the cultural leaders can't be assigned
to civilian dress code, may be the best they could do, would be at least, to
dress the present Army security personnel, in Police uniforms so as to
differentiate the politicians from cultural leaders.
NB: These are just a personal observations and opinions. Am not trying to
tell the Katikiro or whoever is concerned with the Kabaka's security what to
do or how to do their job.
