sees what is wrong in my stomach? Do you honestly see me going under a gunny
to be opened up at age 92? To what good?

There used to be a Mafia boss called Falcone from the shape of his nose

ancient Acholi tradition, old folks used to be killed by their own family
when they fell terribly ill and close to death then rise up suddenly to
normal. But at that would be ok. The problem for the old man or woman is if
by sheer coincidences they fell terribly ill to near death a few times too
often and each time they fell ill a child died while they survived near
deaths. It was believed that it was the old individual trading his or her
life for a child's death thereby raising fear that if the individual kept
falling ill and healed while each time a child died, the relatives would
soon run out of children and the best course of action would be to get rid
of the old thingi. Incidentally it was believed that once the old one who
refused to die was gotten rid of, child deatsh would immediately end.
The twist was in killing the old man or woman. Altho it would be a
designated family member to do the dirty job, the executioer must make not
make a mistake of being seen by the target victim less his or her spirit
backfires on him or her. Secondly, the manner of death was not by spear or
arrow or poison but by bludgeoning the victim with a surprise single hit on
the back of the head. Its like being hit by a high-speed train you didnt
know where it came from.
Now imagine Mandela and Philip were Acholi oldies and imagine their eyes
gawking at every direction all around them expecting a blow anytime on the
oblongota with no chance or energy for doing the Ussain to dear life except
catching the eye of the would-be assassin to freeze him out - for that
moment. for another chance to live.
That is indeed scary.
