*Professor Antonio Antonio* IN Africa, they placed battled-hardened veteran nationalist Robert Mugabe’s Zimbabwe under illegal sanctions. They ousted Hosni Mubarak in Egypt. They murdered Maummar Gaddafi in Libya. They arrested Laurent Gbabgo in Ivory Coast. They created Raila Odinga, Alassane Ouatarra and Morgan Tsvangirai and placed them in their menu of a buffet of puppets. They have scuttled all plans for Africa to unite into the United States of Africa, funding divisions and sponsoring divisive development projects in singled out countries, disguised as promotion of democracy, good governance and accountability. Theirs is a deadly combination, an unholy alliance meant to put the world into their political and economic pockets, welcome to the deadly alliance of the United States of America and Europe. Like a pride of hungry lions, these countries gang against any leader of Government deemed untoward. Typical of lion predatory behaviour, they carefully stalk their prey, get into the system and attack with ferocity when time comes. Today, they have turned up and ganged against President Mohammed Assad of Syria. Foreign Secret Services (SS) are often used by West regimes as an essential tool in confronting foes or hostile countries and parties. After achieving their goals in Libya, the American, British, French, Turkish, Qatar and Saudi SS are, at present quite energetic in taking down the Assad regime. Until recently they have been extremely cautious due to fears that the US and its European allies, might get involved, and by doing so, aid to the strengthening of the Islamic component of the Syrian opposition. But alert approaches have been attuned due to the increase of subversive activities against the Assad regime by a significant number of hostiles in Syria. According to a foreign media leak, in August 2012, Barack Obama signed a secret decree authorising the CIA to supply modern weapons to the Syrian opposition and to support it financially. The latter even got 15 million USD from the State Department to achieve this goal. Nowadays Western SS in Syria are aiming to escalate any potential conflict by all means possible to force the UN to issue a mandate for an international military operation against the country; Western SS also play an important role in arranging schemes of weapon deliveries. While doing this, US, Britain and France prefer to act through intermediaries. As a rule, SS of these countries assist their Saudi and Qatar counterparts in transporting weapons to designated smuggling points, through which it is later on brought into Syria (e.g. Turkey and Jordan). The major problem is that these extremists, who often use them against civilians; US and French SS intelligence data allows Syrian opposition to carry out successful attacks or avoid getting hit by government forces. Such a practice prevents the latter from regaining control over the situation and leads to further escalation of violence; Libya and Syria are not the only countries where a “deadly” Western scenario was played out. The French military campaign against Islamists in Mali (who were previously armed by the West with Libyan weapons) is also a pre-planned operation of the SS. In fact, this military initiative, immediately supported by the US, Germany and UK, is a common response to the Chinese economic expansion in Africa. Apparently all the wars fought in Africa and in the Middle East are just “computer games” for Americans and Europeans, which they can play without inflicting damage to themselves. In reality, it is all about hundreds of thousands of lives. The events in Libya prove the point, that any Western intervention if beneficial only for the west itself. According to foreign media, Jordan periodically hosts meetings of US, Israeli, Qatar and Turkish SS officials during which they discuss prospects of the current Syrian government. So unexpected “vitality” of B. Assad becomes annoying for the SS heads of the above mentioned states. In particular during the meeting chief of Qatar secret service discussed with his Israel counterpart and adviser to the prime minister of Israel how to accelerate foreign invasion of Syria; during the meeting, which took place in January 2013, in Oman between CEO of “Al jazeera” media holding H Al Thani, former prime minister of Syria R, Hijab and officials from CIA and Massad sides discussed possibility to increase production of videos of “bloody crimes of Syrian regime” on special film sets of Arabic TV channel and possible scenarios for the future videos as well. The world must not watch while this combination of the US and Europe, take on progressive governments and turn many countries into ruins, simply because they are run by leaders who are accountable to them. Africa has its own democratic processes influenced by its massive cultural influences, its rich history its natural resources and the US and Europe have for one reason or the other self-proclaimed themselves as teachers of what is good to the world and what is not. Like the resistance offered by Assad, the recent election in Kenya has set the tone for Africans. While Odinga has tucked his tail between his legs, his handlers in Europe are showing a brave face but Odinga is gone for good. If Odinga is a democrat, why not allow the people’s vote to rule Kenya. The next election is in Zimbabwe, and like it or not, Morgan Tsvangirai is going to be beaten hands down by Mugabe. The West will still cry foul but all indicators show that Tsvangirai is losing.
