As a Ugandan in diaspora, I really hate these recriminations from Ugandans.
Honestly this is a government that came from the jungle, what did you expect
it to do? And look Obotes government came to power through a vote, and I am
not here to tell you that because it was voted it was a democratic
government, but you had a right on that government for he at minimum
respected you and asked you if you wanted him to lead you. Museveni and all
Movementists never asked you to lead you, they put a gun on your firkin head
and they walked to state house. How illusional can one be to think they will
be democratic? They could not be democratic for they tried the democratic
way and they lost. And yet you stood on the side as your fellow Ugandan were
being decapitated and killed and raped and you sung for them. No seriously
these people were killing us in Luwero and you were saying Abaana wawulidde
bwebakuubye? So to you it was fun to murder a couple of Ugandans as they go
to state house. Look when they started to kill Northerners, I stood and
opposed it, how come I never read a name of Nuwagaba opposing those murders?
Why was it only myself , Matek, Dr Kipenji Gook and a couple of very few
people I forget? Yet I know those who were singing Mwoto Nawaka. Museveni is
a bad leader yes, but you have become a firewood in his tyranny.
There are people that tried to oppose him, men like Wafula Oguttu men like
Chris Opoka what happened to them? I actually had one called Harold Acemah
what happened to him? There is a doctor in Germany I forget his name what
happened to him? And Gook can remind me the name. When you look critically
on Uganda issues, Ugandans oppose Museveni when they do not have access to
eating, when they start to eat they stop to oppose him, which makes one
wonder why Abbey Ssemuwemba abandoned his own forum just a week he said
Museveni has joined UAH. And this stand is firm for I see the way Ugandans
cry for Ssejjussa who is clearly a killer and I wonder if this country is
not on its way to self-destruct. You created Museveni go in the bed man.
Let us cut the stupidity crap people.

The recent closure of the Monitor and the Red Pepper reminded me of a
government decision to close ebimeeza (out-door radio talk shows) in 2009
because some debaters were using them to launch verbal attacks and
unqualified outbursts.
However, due to ban of ebimeeza, the government has lost the opportunity to
know who the next generation of vibrant politicians may be. Ebimeeza were,
some form of leadership colleges. Todays young vibrant leaders were, to a
reasonable extent, shaped by ebimeeza. The barazas that were introduced
under the Prime Ministers office are not doing anything to groom leaders.
Not even has the National Leadership Institute-Kyankwanzi equalled ebimeeza
in terms of nurturing leaders. It is therefore, my humble request that
government reconsiders its decision and allows ebimeeza to re-open in order
to give chance to would-be leaders, now in the obscure, to grow.
