I follow crime statistics in this country as I follow them in United States.
July 4th is always a public holiday in United States. So when long weekends
end we suckers go on the detail list to find out who has screwed who with
what and where. On this particular last July 4th weekend, do you know how
many people were actually shot in Chicago? 74. Now Chicago is roughly a size
of Toronto but they had a total of 74 shootings on that one day. Now to be
fair with Chicago, not all 74 people are dead, some are in hospital some are
still in intensive care but some are dead. And I do not have the numbers
before me to list who is what and where, but if I count only the times The
Police was called into Chicago due to a gun shot, on this July the 4th, is
74 times.
May be we live in very strange days indeed !!!!!

There was a quick sampling on NTV and WBS - guess what people were saying!
Uganda takes the first place. All of them.
Now if people are quite aware, of what is happening, and they are suffering
quietly and government gives thieves 5 years in jail - I really fear for the
consequences of frustration - which might explode like thunder.
