Let me take a second to go after the heat wave. We are truly burning and
pounding for this is way too long. When you look at The Environment Canada
website this province and Quebec has only red color as it has been red since
last Saturday. I have shut off my AC for the very first time since Friday to
get it a break and in about an hour it is getting right back on. I have
refused to go to work yesterday and today, might try tomorrow but 40%
chances I might not, it is very bad and brutal. A couple of issues here to
recognize, if you have a medical issue stay inside, if you have kids they
stay inside, if you have pets they stay inside and water must be literary
visible to them at any point of time, day and night. There are Dogs that
love ice cream please do not allow them to eat Ice cream for it has sugar.
What sugar actually does is to suck water out of them, so do not let them
depend on it. Adults remember beer and any alcohol has sugar too so drink it
when you know that it goes inside your body and sucks water from within.
Ladies understand that your body is so open as it has ever been, so that
birth control pill you depend on, might actually not be that effective till
temperatures get back to normal.
Take as much water as you possibly can. Not in one gulp but have water in a
glass and sip on every time you remember, you need physical water in your
body. If you are a senior citizen, stay indoors permanently or till I post
otherwise. I have been outside it is yes cruel. Do not bake food it is a
very bad time having anything baked. We might get a break probably Sunday or
Monday for a colder air is very slowly East bound, but until when it
arrives we are sitting in a God damn banner. Kids no there is no going
outside and no bike riding everything is shut down till when God looks our
way. All municipal buildings and all Federal buildings are going to be open
24 hours for everyone to walk in and cool off if you do not have an AC or if
you cannot manage the hydro bill, walk into a library walk into a community
center and many have free water supply, do not die in your house for you are
a have not.
Stay cool and stay alive this is not a joke but brutality from up high.
