And from the very last Tabamiruka, we were able to generate 2 million dollars
that we are going to use in Buganda to build a functioning hospital, with a
maternity ward with 150 beds. We as Baganda are sick and tired to see how
Baganda women drop themselves off Mulago hospital floors for they have no one
that cares in Uganda. How about that? Yea now they are targeting and sending me
the crap in private.

And crap so it is. JESUS !!!!!!!!!!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
American Ttabamiruka 2013: It Is Baganda Minds That Are In Captivity
September 3, 2013, Iselin, New Jersey, USA.

Attendees of the American Ttabamiruka International Conference agreed that the
biggest challenge Baganda face today is the "captivity of minds," which they
linked to the more than one hundred years of hostile rule and agreements and
treaties forced on Buganda. The conference resolutions included:

1. reaffirmation of full loyalty to Ssaabasajja Kabaka Ronald Muwenda
Mutebi II;
2. acceptance of the guidance of Jajja Omutaka Nakirembeka Alan Waliggo,
who counseled abazzukulu to always be open to fellowship and discussion based
on honesty and truthfulness;
3. formation of an international committee to educate all concerned
parties about Buganda issues;
4. honoring those who sacrificed their lives in defense of Nnamulondo
(Buganda throne).

The conference was held over the USA Labor Day weekend at the Renaissance
Woodbridge Hotel, in the city of Iselin, New Jersey. It started on Friday
August 30, 2013 and ended on Monday morning, September 2, 2013.
Ttabamiruka '13 was formally opened on Saturday August 31 by Omutaka
Nakirembeka Alan Waliggo. It started with a Call to Colors where, in total
silence, Baganda children brought USA and Buganda flags into the hall and
placed them behind the podium. Immediately afterwards, the attendees sang the
Kitiibwa kya Buganda and the Star Spangled Banner (USA national anthem.)

When giving benediction, Jajja Nakirembeka conveyed warm greetings from his
"brothers", the other Bataka, and thanked the organizers and sponsors for their
hard work and high quality of preparations. He requested Ggwangamujje NY/NJ to
seriously consider bringing a large number of Bataka to Ttabamiruka in 2014, to
give them a chance to meet and counsel their bazzukulu in the Diaspora
firsthand. Omutaka Nakirembeka also introduced the various projects that the
Buganda Clan Leaders have embarked on via their recently formed Abataka Trust
Limited.

Betty Bakireke Nambooze MP and Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda MP, serving members in
the Uganda parliament, were the other invited key-note speakers present, after
Oweek. Israel Mayengo was unable to come due to late flight problems. Both
received several standing ovations during their speeches as they spoke about
how mass brainwashing, induced poverty and corruption have been used to enslave
Baganda minds to a point where some Baganda even aid their captors in retaining
Buganda in captivity! Referring to Uganda's cunning politicians, Nambooze
cautioned fellow Baganda about the recent promises to return Buganda's assets.
She felt that celebrations, if any, should be stayed until the Uganda
Government actually fulfills all its promises. Amid applause, she added that it
is far too early to recall our forces from the battle field!
Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda used economic data from Uganda Government and United
Nations on Rwanda, Uganda and Buganda to demonstrate how Buganda has been
impoverished by deliberate under-spending on services needed by the ordinary
people in the kingdom.

A Canadian Muganda youth, Henry Ssali, also received standing ovations when he
presented a paper which argued that Buganda is not under captivity at all and,
given current trends, it is the rest of Uganda that might be worried about
Buganda's inevitable return to prominence.

The annual Amazina Amaganda dancing competition on Saturday night was won by
the Ngeye clan. Ekitiibwa kya Buganda awards were given to celebrated educators
Ernest Sempebwa, Haji Abbas Kawaase Mukasa, former Headmaster of Kibuli
Secondary School, Mrs. Margaret Nakatudde Nsereko, former Head Teacher of
Nabbingo Girls School, Omutaka Sebanyiiga, James Ntambi Mukasa, Ph. D. for his
support to the education of Baganda, especially at Jeza Primary School,
Kyaggwe. Henry Ssali received the Young Muganda of Exceptional Promise award
for his outstanding commitment and loyalty to the Kabaka and his past
contributions to Ttabamiruka conferences.

Ttabamiruka '13 saw the highest levels of participation by Baganda youths.
Special attractions included a night party bus tour of New York City for ages
18-35 years and a new ritual called "Okulera abazzukulu" where the youth were
given a chance to sit on Jjajja Nakirembeka and Jajja Mukyala's laps for a much
prized cuddle and photo opportunity.
