There has been some movement in the standoff at the Westgate mall in
Nairobi. A massive explosion has taken place in the mall. We do not know who
has set it off. Associated press at the scene is stating that this explosion
has been by far the largest in the 30 hour siege, and it has been followed
by a very long silence. United Kingdom foreign secretary has dispatched a
British rapid deployment team out of London to Nairobi to provide consular
support And lastly Al Shabaab is having a problem with its tweet being shut
down, but few minutes ago they had the ability to use a feed and made a
statement that the Kenyan government is trying to negotiate with them, by
putting several offers on the table, the Kenyan government must realize that
no one will talk to them as long as they have invading forces in Somalia.
We continue to watch the Westgate mall siege.
