Why did president Museveni say that Uganda is catching up on HIV/AIDS when
{a} Uganda has been up and front in all countries in treatment and medicine
access way long before even Western countries started to deal with it with a
straight face? And {b} How can Uganda claim to do so bad when all countries
are laughing for they are beating the disease? All numbers I have are
indicating that infections are way low and deaths are way low and people can
get pregnant and the babies become disease free? To a point that now when we
are dating we no longer get worried if you are HIV positive.

Fellow journalists, Uganda Aids Commission in collaboration with Uganda
Media Centre and Media Council, has accepted to pertner with Uganda
Journalist Association (UJA), Uganda Newspaper Editors and Proprietoprs
Association (UNEPA) and Uganda broadcasters Association (UBA) in anti
HIV-AIDS activism.
The organizers had in mind Uganda Media Center and Media Council, and later
Uganda Broadcasters Association, but we have advised them the role of UNEPA
in print media and UJA in general (despite our internal problems which we
should collectively solve), and they have accepted.
This was in a half day HIV-AIDS workshop at Fairway Hotel today.
