Museveni to extend tenure to 2018
Simen, to achieve that, you will have two referenda. We cqan't wait those
resources.

Now Ahmed, bearing in mind that such a constitutional amendment favours
both our NRM and Opposition MPs in a such way that majority of them are not
sure whethet they will make a come back in the 10th Parliament such
constitutional changes will come as golden opportunity for them to extend
their stay for two years the way it was done in Kenya.
Also bear in mind the financial position of majority of our MPs is so
wanting so I can fore see few MPs opposing such a motion basically on
financial grounds. Extra two years in the House will help them to settle
alot debts in banks and money lenders.
Thanks.

simeone, even in 2005 opportunistic MPs like James Kakooza of Kabula, wanted
an extension of therm of parliament from five to 10 years as a transition to
multi-partism, it was rejected because it was unconstitutional. Such a move
can be done by a Legal Notice, a Military Proclamation or a Decree, but even
under the constitution, the citizens are allowed to counter those
unconstitutional measures until the constitutional order is returned the way
Egyptians are doing.

My brother we dont need to urgue at this point in time, just watch the
space. Time will tell. Mind you what Parliament cant do is to make a man a
woman or to turn the sun to face another direction. But the rest Parliament
can do it and our memory are still very fresh for what they did in 2005. As
the Baganda saying goes 'Nti tukayanire ebagwa nti erimu omwana' meaning
that we cant argue on an animal which being slaughtered whether its pregnant
or not, just be patient until the slaughtering process is over them you will
confirm. So Kateregga and the like just wait and soon than later the truth
will comeout. Thanks.

If this is true, it has already passed. Even the so-called Opposition MPs

Parliament to amend constitution allowing president Museveni and all current

Museveni and his goons have an agenda to enslave Ugandans. He wants to use
the MPs to endorse his criminality.
