On this day in 2005 the founding Father of the Republic of Uganda, Dr. AM
Obote passed on, rather too suddenly.
I am really glad he is rested, fully. But Looking at the mess in the
Republic since his departure and the challenges in the Congress he first
led, I miss him even more today. For the Republic I love, if only.....
Yet I am thankful to God that I knew and, managed to work a little, with
him. A man like any other, he belonged to his own league.
I love it for, his mark on the Republic is permanent - at least I see. Rest,
Old Milton.
