It is a public record that I decided to take an intelligent decision not to
wallop under this failed president that has found so much support in many of
these forums based on a simple logic that he is black. And I have been
called all names and accusations for what a black man that can decide not to
sing a praising song for a first black president. There are factors I simply
refuse to label my name under, and I simply refused to put my name under
this failed president and for some very good reasons. I find it repulsive
that many of those singing his greatness fail to list some minor details
that affect all of us as a society, and here is a good example that they do
not explain to you. I have followed Edward Pojim and Ocen NekyonÂ’ s
discussion during the shutdown, and they have laid the blame on the
Republicans and the Tea Party. Well now that the president got the debt
ceiling suspended, let us go into the numbers that Edward Pojim and Ocen
Nekyon forgot to somehow make public.
Last Wednesday October 16th 2013 The Congress agreed to reach an agreement
allowing President Obama to suspend the debt ceiling until Feb. 07th 2013 to
end the impasse over debt ceiling and a temporary shutdown of federal
government. It is imperative that you understand that sentence, the
agreement they got is not to raise the debt ceiling but to suspend it for
now. On that one single day the October 16th 2013, with that agreement
President Obama hiked the national debt with 329 Billion dollars. By last
Friday October 18th 2013, the US treasury department announced that under
president Obama, the public debt of United States had reached to a record of
17.076 Trillion dollars, it also added that this is the highest this figure
has ever gone in the entire American history. We are still trying to get the
physical statement that was sent out on Friday by the US treasury and if we
get it we will post it, but those are the numbers it stated as by last
Friday afternoon. Now let us put this is a language understood by many in
the forums. President Obama became a president on January 20, 2009, at that
time, when you consider all past American presidents including GWB he
replaced, United States had accumulated a total public debt of 10.627
Trillion dollars. From when he was sworn to power, the president has blown
it by 6.5 Trillion dollars, which brings us to a total of 17.076 Trillion
dollars to last Friday as by the Friday US treasury department statement.
You have to realize that this president has just started his second term in
November of 2012, so if he spent about 6 Trillion in one term, if you very
conservatively allocate him another 6 Trillion dollars in the second term,
this is a president that can easily leave the public debt to a 21 Trillion
dollars when he found it at 10.627 Trillion dollars, thus more than double
it.
We are glad we opposed this president as a matter of principle.
