UAH members,
We should ask ourselves some questions with all these picstures posted on
this forum: What is Africa's problem? Political longevity? Term limits? Poor
governance? Or all of above? Parliament is rooting for iPads for its members
at the cost of Shs1bn in a bid to reduce the cost of stationery. It said the
Parliament spends over shs 32b on stationery, computer supplies, printing,
photocopying and other print costs iPads would be a timely idea. Maybe it
could save the tax payers' money, but seriously cant each MP PURCHASE AN
IPAD?!!!! What hurts me most is that hospitals luck medicine (drugs) and
some MPs have never even uttered anyone ever since they joined the
parliament. BUT ALL THEY NEED is to ask for such luxuries rather than
putting the needs of the people they represent in mind first.
If some UAH members can afford buying themselves an i PAD, then what about
an MP?? Let them inject in their money moreover they are going to use them
for other purposes rather than parliamentary issues!!
