I have said this but many times I get misunderstood so let me try it one
more time. Only one more time. Having electricity in your house requires two
major parts, generation and conductance. I am using a term conductance to
mean carrying it from where it is generated to your local transformer to
your house. Uganda does not have a problem with generating power it has a
problem with conducting it. Stop to invest into generation and invest into
the carrying of that power for as we speak much of what you generate dies in
Jinja for it has no path to reach my house in Bweyogerere. New poles new
cabling, new transformers, new sub transformers, earthed lines including all
130KV lines to be earthed. Show me one single well-built power line in
Uganda that has no power.
The war of Luwero was justified my back alley. Geez !!!!!!!!!

There is going to be too much power but nothing to use for. The upcoming DRC
80 billion US Dollar Inga Dam project alone is said to be capable of feeding
the entire Africa the electrical power it needs. EM, the need for cheap
electrical power for harvesting Nsenene outweighs the zillion deaths from
the same meaning, procreation will likewise throtle to faster rates..

Again this is the poor planning w have in our country let alone continent.
Uganda is blessed with such high amounts of water capable to generate our
power through hydroelectric system. It is clean and safer. I find it tough
to find that we can generate power to Kenya and Rwanda but simply cannot put
power on our own light bulbs. You are not an industrialized country so your
consumption is very limited. Why would any Baboon go for solar energy?
Because it does not need maintenance and does not need investments.
Now watch how cancer drops you by the zillions.

New solar energy power plants coming to Uganda
Solar energy plants to be built by Ergon Solair
Solar Energy - Uganda
<http://www.hydrogenfuelnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Solar-Energy-Uga
nda.jpg> Uganda is set to be home to four new solar energy plants that will
be developed by <http://www.ergonsolair.com/> Ergon Solair and Martifer
Solar. The new power plants have been commissioned by the Ugandan
Development Corporation and will help the country break away from
fossil-fuels and energy purchased from other countries. The solar energy
power plants are expected to have a significant economic impact on several
communities throughout the country, many of which are under intense
financial pressure due to the prices associated with energy.
Plants represent 500MW of combined capacity

r_power> The four solar power plants will have a combined energy capacity of
500 megawatts. Ergon Solair expects that solar energy could help several
communities throughout Uganda save anywhere from 30% to 50% on their energy
bills. Solar energy is often touted for its economic potential and, as such,
has become an attractive option for countries in need of economic stability.
Like other African nations, Uganda has fallen victim to many of the global
economic problems that have emerged in recent years.
Plants likely to be completed by 2016
Construction on the new power plants is expected to begin at some point in
2014. The power plants are not likely to be completed until October of 2016,
at the earliest. The electricity produced by the

solar energy power plants will be obtained by the Ugandan government through
a power purchase agreement with Ergon Solair. After this energy has been
purchased, it will be fed into the countrys energy grid, where it can be
used to power homes and businesses alike.
Rural communities may benefit from solar energy
Ergon Solair will also be working to develop competitively priced
<http://www.hydrogenfuelnews.com/new-solar-energy-project-finds-home-pakista

communities. These communities do not tend to have reliable access to the
countrys energy grid and are often struck by power outages. Solar energy
could provide these communities with the electrical power they need without
having to make drastic changes to the Ugandan energy grid.
