Reliable sources are telling us that many trucks of UPDF have been seen
heading up North to Southern Sudan. As people that know what these Baganda
and Westerner members of UPDF did in Rwanda DSX Somalia and other places, it
is time if you are in South Sudan to get out.

We are going to post new information about UPF heads into Sudan as soon as
we get it.

Namesake;

Not only the US, but the toothless African Union should also step in and
stop any further carnage. South Sudan is dangerously in the cusp of an
all-out civil war. Uganda is doing the right thing, both as a neighbor and a
major actor in that country.

What started as a mutiny just over a week ago, has rapidly morphed into a
free-for-all, sectarian fighting.

In this scenario, the international community has the duty to provide a
simultaneous intervention: with troops to calm fighting, and diplomacy to
broker dialogue that can lead to a peaceful resolution.

Standing on the fence will lead to Rwanda Part 11.

Obama tells Congress he may take further military action to protect
Americans in South Sudan

BY JOSH LEDERMAN, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS DECEMBER 22, 2013 7:00 PM

HONOLULU, Hawaii - President Barack Obama told Congress on Sunday that
he may take further military action to protect Americans in
violence-plagued South Sudan.

In a letter to Congress, Obama said that about 46 U.S. troops were
deployed Saturday to help evacuate Americans. That's in addition to
another 45 troops deployed to reinforce the U.S. Embassy in Juba, the
South Sudan capital.

Four U.S. troops were wounded in the evacuation mission Saturday when
gunfire hit three military planes. All four are in stable condition,
the White House said.

Obama is on his annual vacation in Hawaii, but he said in the letter
to congressional leaders that he's monitoring the situation. Earlier
Sunday, Obama was briefed by advisers on events in South Sudan
following a meeting that his national security adviser, Susan Rice,
held with national security aides and U.S. personnel still in South
Sudan.

"I may take further action to support the security of U.S. citizens,
personnel, and property, including our Embassy, in South Sudan," Obama
wrote.

Fighting continued Sunday in South Sudan, where the central government
has lost control of the capital of a key oil-producing state. The
unrest has raised fears of full-blown civil war.
