Ontario power generation has lost power to 250,000 additional customers, we
are just under a million customers off the grid. Ice continues to dump on
Down town core and will remain till about midday when its tail will show up
in Toronto. Do not drive for the trees are down on the roads, power lines
are down the roads are simply impassable. If you have access to Lake Ontario
is has a very nice view for it has frozen and the storm is lightening on it
for it is like a glass and gives out a very good view.
All Toronto Transit Commission street cars are out of service till further
notice.

Be informed that we have a major ice storm in the City, Ice is held on the
Hydro power lines and that has resulted into a problem of power transmission
in a wide range of area in the city. Ontario Power generation is estimating
that about 50,000 customers are off the grid in the city. With such massive
power failure in the city, all Toronto Transit Street Car services has been
suspended until further notice. There is no Street Car Service in the entire
city of Toronto due to power failure caused by the Ice Storm.
This is a developing story.
